Yoga is meant to be a practice. I decided that I wanted to teach yoga as a way to give back to people what I’ve learned about joyfulness, self-esteem, nutrition and the balance that is found here too. It’s a way to express the gratitude I have for the beauty I’ve been shown in this world.
I encourage my family to practice yoga and meditation, and if not as a routine but when times feel hard and a mental restart is in order.
Practicing in natural scapes is invigorating and lets you escape distractions.

A good reason to go to a class is to avoid such situations. See image – My downward dog is wrecking my inner house peace and takes over my mat.
I hope you will find the same benefits of yoga and will make it a life-long practice.
Your teacher, and student,
Mrs. Scroggins
