Yoga & Meditation Tuesdays & Thursdays Livestreamed to your home
For the beginner to advanced level of yoga practice, enjoy a 60-minute vinyasa–style practice in a non-heated room to music. Focused on poses and alignment, breathing technique and fun, you will experience yoga modifications, assists and new poses each week. Practices can be based on increasing range of motion, flexibility, and strength all with breath work and at your pace. Set in a smaller group setting for beginners and restarters, we work on basic posture alignment and other physical therapy-based exercises. The focus here is on self-care, awareness and the connection between yoga and lifelong physical and mental wellness.
Participants need to bring a yoga mat, water bottle, towel and blocks (optional). Yoga Alliance 200 RYT instructor and owner of Prisma Yoga, Liz Scroggins teaches Baptiste vinyasa “flow,” but incorporates a creative mix of traditional hatha, yin and Bikram for a fun and relaxed session focused on your practice.
Come get fit and toned while reliving some of the 80s and 90s dance moves. Liz will be incorporating some Hip-Hop, Latin (Zumba), Bollywood dances along with some aerobics and yoga moves. Participants need to wear normal workout clothes/tennis shoes and bring a water bottle and towel.
The dance moves are designed to enhance flexibility with high and low-intensity intervals making this an excellent cardio workout, dance class and lots of fun! 12 classes per semester and free demo classes. (Course Fee: $99)
