Yoga & Meditation Tuesdays
For the beginner to advanced level of yoga practice, enjoy a 60-minute vinyasa–style practice in a non-heated room to music. Focused on poses and alignment, breathing technique and fun, you will experience yoga modifications, assists and new poses each week. Practices can be based on increasing range of motion, flexibility, and strength all with breath work and at your pace. Set in a smaller group setting for beginners and restarters, we work on basic posture alignment and other physical therapy-based exercises. The focus here is on self-care, awareness and the connection between yoga and lifelong physical and mental wellness.
Zumba! Dance Fitness Wednesdays
Zumba is an exercise fitness program involving dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. Liz Scroggins’ choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, and fitness-focused movements with squats and lunges. The dance moves are designed to enhance flexibility with high and low-intensity intervals making Zumba an excellent cardio workout, dance class and lots of fun! Free demo class on 9/11/19.
