Do I have to be a teacher, student, or staff of FBISD to attend? No. You can call, email or use the links to register for classes. Since classes are all online, multiple people in your household can view and join in as long as they are in the same space. You cannot share out the links to your family in another household, no.

Do I have to live in the Fort Bend area by the school? No.

Hosted at schools within Fort Bend, these classes are not limited to residents in the area either. You might work in the area, live in Houston or greater Houston area and want to take a class after work. Yes, you can.

Frequently Asked Questions are answered here about these new community classes supported by Fort Bend ISD and in the security of school facilities near you. It’s a new program so it’s taking some time to get the word out and can be confused with Extended Day programs for kids, but it’s for adults. Promise.

Once schools re-open, the physical buildings will again be offered as the location unless initially provided as an online class. Then old school rules apply, with any additional safety measures required at that time.

Will I have to sign in at the school? Yes. Security measures are taken for our safety.

Is parking free? Yes. Sometimes you can get a sweet parking spot labeled “Principal.” Usually, never a problem, and has employees watching the facilities into the night and afterwards.
