Yoga & Meditation in 2022
Yoga Thursdays has an exciting new home at the Fort Bend ISD Extended Learning’s new headquarters! It’s a large space for social distance comfort, with clean changing areas, snack machines and water fountains. Lots of parking and next to the police station. Just loving it!

Yoga is famous for helping people attain strength, flexibility, balance, clarity of mind, and serenity. Beginners will be introduced to the basics of posture alignment, movement with breath, and meditation. Participants need a yoga mat and blocks (optional). Yoga Alliance 200 RYT instructor and owner of Prisma Yoga, Liz Scroggins teaches Baptiste vinyasa “flow,” but incorporates a creative mix of traditional hatha, yin and Bikram for a fun and relaxed session focused on your practice.

What is yoga therapy?
“Any yogic technique used to systematically address physical injury or pain, or mental and emotional stress or trauma” – Yoga Journal
Most of my students just want to “stay active.” Then, we need to define what that means and find a space in our minds and bodies to achieve this.
This is your practice. This is your yoga.
