For the beginner to advanced level of yoga practice, enjoy a 60-minute vinyasa–style practice in a non-heated room to music. Focused on poses and alignment, breathing technique and fun, you will experience yoga modifications, assists and new poses each week. Practices can be based on increasing range of motion, flexibility, and strength all with breath work and at your pace. Set in a smaller group setting for beginners and restarters, we work on basic posture alignment and other physical therapy-based exercises. The focus here is on self-care, awareness and the connection between yoga and lifelong physical and mental wellness.
Participants need to bring a yoga mat, water bottle, towel and blocks (optional). We get to practice in on a matted floor, so it’s easy on the knees!
Yoga Alliance 200 RYT instructor and owner of Prisma Yoga, Liz Scroggins teaches Baptiste vinyasa “flow,” but incorporates a creative mix of traditional hatha, yin and Bikram for a fun and relaxed session focused on your practice.
