Loved this! Poetry to get through my tough morning.

Dear Liz,
I have been battling this flu/virus for over a week now, which prevented me from writing a blog for yesterday. (Sorry about that, by the way.) But I was writing, in bits and pieces when I could, including some poetry.
So, last week I wrote a poem, but hadn’t decided when/where or if I would share it. I showed it to a friend and she said, “Oh my gosh I love it!!! It has a bit of a Dr. Seuss feel to it which I love. I can see this accompanied by some great illustrations Way to go!!! xox”
Then I woke up to this news today: It’s Dr. Seuss’ birthday today! He would have been 112. So, in light of that synchronicity… I give you
“I’m just me.” |
